11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
The news has all become the same.
Or perhaps, I've changed.
Nothing in the world comforts me.
It's all designed to contort people.
To twist their thinking.
To manipulate their minds.
To cause deep unrest in the soul.
To seek the self.
But I seek GOD alone.
The peace of His SON.
The purity of His WORD.
The sword of His SPIRIT.
The beauty of His heart.
The power of His might.
His mercy, and His magnificence.
His never-ending love.
So I search Scripture.
And this is where the HOLY SPIRIT leads me today:
