GIVING THANKS to the LORD

 

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 In every thing give thanks: 

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus 

concerning you.

It's time to be grateful.

To give GOD the GLORY.

To be grateful, for everything.

To love the LORD, as He wishes to be loved.

To thank God, for each other.

To thank each other, for being in our lives.

To acknowledge that only GOD, sees perfectly.

To be grateful, for the life given.

To be grateful for our work, no matter how humble.

To be grateful, for the food we eat.

To be grateful, for the simple joys of life.

To be grateful, for the LORD's sacrifice on the CROSS.

To be grateful, for being loved, no matter how sinful we are.

To be grateful for the purifying WORD of GOD.

To be grateful for the comfort the HOLY SPIRIT gives.

To be grateful that SPIRIT teaches us each moment.

To be grateful that JESUS defeated death, and the devil.

To be grateful for the many opportunities, to love.

To be grateful for another day, to love.

To be grateful for another morning, to wake up to.

To be grateful for another day, to do better.

To be forgiven, no matter we test God's mercy.

To be grateful, for the TRUTH of GOD.

To be grateful, for the GRACE given.

To be grateful to all, who work so hard each day.

To be grateful, for our families.

To be grateful to our parents, for the sacrifices made.

To be grateful to our siblings, for their love, and patience.

To be grateful to our long-suffering friends.

To be grateful for enemies, who keep us closer to God.

To be grateful for grief, making our hearts tender.

To be grateful for pain, making us turn to the LORD.

To be grateful for failures, keeping us humble.

To be grateful for success, knowing God is in charge.

To be grateful for challenges, testing our FAITH.

To be grateful for difficulties, testing our LOVE.

To be grateful for momentary confusion, testing our PATIENCE.

To be grateful to GOD, for giving us people to love.

To be grateful to JESUS, for teaching us how to LOVE.

To be grateful to JESUS, for the forthcoming RAPTURE.

To be grateful to JESUS, without whom, we'd be nothing.

John 15:5

5 I am the vine,

He that abideth in me,

the same bringeth forth much fruit:

It's time to GIVE THANKS to the LORD, and receive the strength we need, for each day's challenge.

Colossians 1:11-12

which hath made us meet 

to be partakers of the inheritance

GRACE HOPE AWARENESS

 

Isaiah 40:31

King James Version

31 But they that wait upon the Lord 

shall renew their strength; 

they shall mount up with wings as eagles; 

they shall run, 

and not be weary; 

and they shall walk, 

and not faint.

It's been 35 days.

But mourning can still be found in the morning.

And it will be so, for a very long time.

For those we love, will continue to live in our hearts.

GOD is merciful, and allows us to mourn for those who have passed on.

Waking me up very early this morning, His HOLY SPIRIT imprinted upon my mind three words:

GRACE

HOPE

AWARENESS

Scripture gave me these verses this morning.

The WORD of GOD never fails us.

It's for all, who need strength for your personal journey, too.

Whatever challenges you may be facing in life.

GOD gives us the strength, and clarity, we need.

James 4:9

STRENGTH from the LORD

 

Psalm 126:5-6

King James Version

5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, 

bearing precious seed, 

shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, 

bringing his sheaves with him.

I so dearly need strength, from the LORD.

Grief is a hard cross to bear, but I must keep going.

As born again, a Bible believer, and a follower of JESUS, I must derive peace from His WORD.

And here's where the LORD's SPIRIT led me to -- verses that fill that wide gap in my heart.

This is for you who need strength, healing, and courage.

That you may be able to bear your own cross, too.

John 16:22

and your heart shall rejoice,

Matthew 28:5-6

Come, 

see the place where the Lord lay.

It's always a BLAZING YELLOW LIGHT.

Beaming out of a doorway.

In open invitation.

I know I will go there someday.

But first, I have to climb up the very narrow, cantilevered steps.

Or go through life, in a "U", as if entering a theater.

Passing behind a seated crowd, who were viewing a blank screen.

Halfway through, I chance upon a yellow-light-filled doorway.

I was to head for that.

Where I felt my "landlord" had gone in, after giving me a tour.

Those two dreams, were of personal prophetic significance for me.

TWENTY years ago, I had been searching for a place to stay.

GOD brought me back home, through other dreams.

And now, I know why.

I needed to return, to make a "U" turn.

I was tasked to care for family.

For there were going to be many challenges.

As well as "gifts".

Not in the material sense.

More, in continuance of "seeing".

And understanding the ways of GOD.

And loving, and appreciating my family even more.

Being born again for 26 months now, helped me understand what those gifts were.

GOD's SPIRIT made me see.

Lately, He tore my heart open, so I could see even better.

And yet, He is merciful.

He gives you clues, as well as commands.

And yes, the myriad dreams I'd been having.

You cannot say there was no preparation.

ALL my dreams were preparation.

I'd been dreaming, and taking note of my dreams, since I was a kid.

As born again, the threads make sense now.

His will always be done.

We can try to cop out of it, we can be reluctant, but GOD's will be done.

In  those two prophetic dreams showing the LIGHT-filled doorways, the LORD JESUS showed how my life was going to be.

HE was going to be the destination.

But while on earth, it wasn't going to be easy.

Very far from easy.

And then, the BRIGHT WHITE STAR showed up.

So very high up in the sky.

My eyes were closed, for I had been taking a nap yesterday afternoon.

But that white star showed up.

And then I recalled another dream from 20 years ago.

Of how I was at a dusty local hardware.

Searching for a light bulb.

That, in itself, was symbolic.

And then I found -- forgotten in the center of the shop, atop a waist-high platform -- a dusty NATIVITY scene.

I lifted the big, cardboard star.

And I saw Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus hidden under it.

I was to "hold" the star up, so they could be seen.

I knew the dream had many layers.

For I had been dreaming, and decoding, for decades.

Having been Catholic in those days, we had those Nativity scenes every Christmas.

Ours was cardboard cutouts, and we would cut pine needles, to fill up it's "floor".

It looked, and smelled authentic.

But that dream showed I was to "hold" up that star.

In that dusty, dreary hardware, in an old section of our city.

Now that I'm born again, I know that's how I'm meant to hold up the star.

To share the WORD of GOD with you.

For JESUS is that STAR.

Revelation 22:16

I am the root and the offspring of David, 

and the bright and morning star.

That STAR shone for Him, at His birth.

Matthew 2:1-2

there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, 

Where is he that is born King of the Jews? 

for we have seen his star in the east,

JESUS is the LIGHT.

The star is high up in the sky.

Perhaps, my work is done.

JESUS is our HOPE.

He's the only REAL THING THERE IS.

Why did I call this blog SUNLIGHT yellow?

The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD in my heart did.

He knew my family and I had been grieving the past 33 days.

He knew I searched the Bible for 30 days straight, looking for a verse that satisfies my soul, about my baby sis.

When I found, it, peace and healing began.

It will be for a long time, but at least, by praying to JESUS each day, He gives me the strength to keep going.

For there's much to do, for I've come to know His WORD -- as born again -- the past 26 months.

And now that the world doesn't make sense at all, we take heart, and know GOD has always been in charge.

His SON will help us get through life's challenges.

Whether it be emotional, financial, spiritual, or mental challenges.

JESUS invites us to sup with Him.

So He may live in our families.

And love, joy, and peace will reign once more.

All messages from GOD.
